We were delighted with the beautiful outdoor onsen at Parkway. The mixed-gender experience was unique and added to the relaxation. The hot spring water was so hot that it almost made me faint, but it was incredibly invigorating. The room had everything we needed, including a kettle, tea, and futons already made. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to secure our luggage before check-in. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we loved the proximity to the stunning sulfur mountain, Iozan. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Teshikaga.

The traditional Japanese-style facilities include an onsen with both indoor and outdoor pools. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with futons, fridge, and a tea set. The shared toilet facilities are very clean. The hotel is conveniently located, just a five-minute walk from the train station, with easy access to Akan National Park. The meals, prepared by the owner's wife and daughter, are delicious and varied.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of the Kawayu Onsen railway station, and close to Mount Io. The owners were friendly and though there wasn't much English spoken, we felt welcome. The dinner at the hotel was enjoyed by my partner and son, and the indoor and outdoor onsens were relaxing. The breakfast, although primarily Japanese style, was delicious. a lovely hotel with quaint cafes/shops nearby.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The highlight was the delicious dinner and breakfast, with multiple dishes including fresh sashimi and hot pot. The fast wifi in the lobby was a bonus. I highly recommend this hotel.

The food was amazing, with delicious sashimi and shabu shabu available. They even had their own fish farm! The location was great, close to the train station and near attractions like Mount Iwo. The wifi was fast and reliable, which is always appreciated.
There were some downsides to this hotel. The onsen was in need of some serious refurbishment, with erosion visible in the pool.

The location was fantastic, being close to the train station and within reach of the observatory above Lake Mashu. It was also near an active volcano, Mount Io, adding to the uniqueness of the experience. The hotel facilities included a natural onsen, both indoor and outdoor, which was open to non-residents as well. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Nothing for me.

The natural onsen at the hotel was absolutely stunning and very relaxing. The indoor and outdoor baths were clean and well-maintained, and the mixed onsen had a unique stone divider that created a peaceful atmosphere. Another great aspect was the location of the hotel. It was conveniently situated near the train station, making it easy for us to explore the area without having to drive. Additionally, the hotel had fast wifi available in the lobby and restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise.
The hotel could use some updates. The rooms felt a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishments.
